2.2. Client Command Center: Live Status Cards, Concerns, and the Client Timeline
Navigate the AlgaPSA client command center: identity header with quick actions, the concerns strip, live status cards for service, money, contacts, and locations, and the unified client timeline.
Immediately after creating a client, you will be prompted with a “Client Created” dialogue, from which you can view the client or add another. Later on, to view a client’s details, you can quickly view basic details by selecting the three dots to the right of the client’s name and clicking Quick View. To see the client’s full details, simply click on the client’s name, or select Edit from the three dots menu.
The client detail screen is a live dashboard — a command center for everything happening with that client — rather than a long row of tabs. Everything you need for a QBR prep, a billing question, or a “what’s going on with this client?” call is on one screen.
The client command center: identity and quick actions up top, concerns that need attention, live status cards, and the unified timeline on the right.
- Identity header: The client’s name, phone, email, website, and primary address, with quick actions like Print available in the top right.
- Concerns strip: A yellow banner surfacing exceptions from every module that may need attention — for example unbilled draft invoices, overdue tickets, or expiring contracts. Click a concern to jump straight to the affected record.
- Service card: Open ticket count, the oldest open ticket, and overdue tickets, with the most recent open tickets listed by priority. Create a ticket for this client directly with + New ticket.
- Client record card: Account manager, default contact, and client-since date, with a link to Additional info (Tax ID, payment terms, timezone, and similar fields).
- Money card: Outstanding and draft invoices, active contract count, and shortcuts to Billing setup and Tax settings.
- Install base card: Managed assets, sold units, and open RMAs for the client, with a shortcut to the full managed assets view.
- People card: The client’s contacts with role and email; add a new contact inline with + Add contact.
- Locations card: The client’s offices with address, phone, and billing/shipping designations. Manage opens the full locations editor.
- Documents and Notes cards: Files linked to the client and internal notes (markdown supported).
- Everything, in order: A unified timeline on the right that merges events from every module — tickets opened, invoices issued, interactions logged, inventory delivered — filterable by Service, Money, Inventory, and Interactions.
Each card’s Open link expands that domain into a full-height focus view — the same screens that used to live behind tabs — and existing ?tab= links keep working, so bookmarks and shared URLs still land in the right place.
