555 days. 16,160 changes. One new PSA for MSPs.

We didn’t start out intending to build one. Our initial plan was simpler: bring new features and automation to the products already in the market. Get access to the APIs. Talk to a few vendors. Build useful add-ons. How hard could it be?

Really, quite difficult, as it turned out.

Don’t get me wrong, we met good people and strong teams along the way, but we also saw room for a different approach: one built around openness, transparent development, and practical integration from the start. If we wanted that kind of PSA, we were going to have to build it ourselves.

So that’s what we did. We poured all of our creativity and energy into building AlgaPSA, the product we wished had existed when we started. Transparent development. Open APIs. A product for the modern world: one where people, tools, integrations, and intelligent agents work together, and where transparency is absolutely required.

Now, MSPs have a new option: a PSA built to help you and your team get productive quickly, with a public development roadmap and a Discord community where users can talk directly with the developers building it. It takes a modern approach to software: open for inspection, open for extension, and free from gatekeepers. Most importantly, it supports both core and advanced MSP business needs across tickets, clients, contracts, time, billing, invoicing, automation, and reporting.

We built the product with deep respect for our customers. Our data model is documented, and your data is always available in a format you can work with. The only lock-in we want is earning your trust by solving real problems.

Along the way, I’ve learned that technology isn’t really the hard part, especially today. The difficult part is earning attention, and then proving over time to be a trusted partner. That starts by bringing more automation and operational power to MSPs that have been priced out, locked out, or slowed down by the options available today.

We built the product we wanted to see in the market, and the product we heard customers asking for. We won’t be slowing down. We have a full roadmap of features and ideas we’re bringing to the MSP community in the coming months.

If you want to automate your business, stop leaking time, and reduce the toil around service delivery and billing, I invite you to join us.
