Release 0.13.0 / The Revenue Release
New Features
Simplify recurring billing from the start with preconfigured contract and invoice defaults
The magic of a PSA for an MSP is how all of the services you perform for your clients are captured, and where appropriate, flow into billing. Ideally you will bill all of those services automatically, without hours of management and approval. That’s where contracts come in.
Alga PSA is introducing Contract Templates this release, allowing you to create a new contract for a client with a couple of clicks. You pre-create your contract definitions, and when you onboard a new client, you can add billing for that client by filling in just the details specific to them. Say goodbye to filling in the same details over and over.
Sync invoices and payments directly to your accounting tools with new Quickbooks and Xero integrations
You can now take your chart of accounts from your accounting package of choice, and map the accounts to your services in Alga PSA. When you push your Alga PSA invoices over to your accounting package, the charges will be assigned automatically to the proper accounts in (for now) Quickbooks or Xero.
Please note: this is a pre-release feature intended for sandbox testing. We look forward to your feedback.
Multi-Language Email Notifications now include Italian
Oh Dios Mio! Email notifications are now available in the language your customers speak. We have translated all of our available notifications, and they are now available in six languages, now including Italian! Caspita!
We’ve also added some nice smaller improvements.
You can attach documents to contracts now, which can be useful if you want to store your actual signed PDF legal documents alongside the ones in Alga PSA. You might also store your written SOPs or other documentation related to a particular client contract.
We’ve unlocked the job monitoring system, so you can get visibility into the background processes that keep things humming and speaking of reliability, we’ve added some rate limits to email sending to keep the unintended email spamming at bay.
Stay tuned for some future updates, including:
Syncing your Alga PSA schedules with Outlook and Google calendars, allowing your clients to request appointments directly from the customer portal, streamlining scheduling and (drum roll), and early rollout of Products and Asset Management (rmm integration, anyone?).
