- Within a project's Kanban board, under a specific phase column, click the + button to add a new task, or click the Add New Task button on the left-hand side.
- Fill in the task details in the "Add New Task" form:
- Title: A brief name for the task (e.g., "Configure new router," "Develop migration script").
- Task Type and Priority: Categorize and prioritize the task within the project.
- Description: Detail the steps or requirements for completing the task.
- Estimated Hours and Actual Hours: Track the planned and actual time spent on the task.
- Due Date: Set the deadline for the task.
- Assigned To: Assign a specific user to complete the task.
- Checklist: Add checklist items to break down the task into smaller, trackable sub-components (e.g., "Item 1: Verify network settings," "Item 2: Backup existing configuration").
- Add Dependency: (If available, this feature allows you to link tasks that depend on each other).
- Click Save. Tasks will appear as cards within their respective phase columns.
