Control what project information clients can see in the Client Portal by configuring visibility settings on each project.


Accessing Project Visibility Settings

  1. Navigate to Projects from the sidebar.
  2. Open the project you want to configure.
  3. Click Edit in the top-right corner.
  4. Scroll to the Client Portal Visibility section and expand it.

What Clients Always See

When a project is visible to clients, they will always see:

  • Project name, description, dates, and overall progress
  • Phase names, descriptions, and date ranges

Visibility Toggles

SettingDescription
Show PhasesClients will see phase cards with names, descriptions, and date ranges. They can select phases to view associated tasks.
Show Completion %Display a progress bar and percentage showing how many tasks are completed in each phase.
Show TasksClients can view individual tasks within each phase. Tasks are displayed in a Kanban board or list view grouped by status.

Visible Task Fields

When Show Tasks is enabled, you can select which task details are visible to clients. Unchecked fields will be hidden from task cards.

Default Settings via Project Templates

Configure default visibility settings in project templates:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Projects > Templates.
  2. Edit a template.
  3. Configure the Client Portal Visibility section.
  4. Save the template.

New projects created from the template will inherit these visibility settings.
