Send portal invitations to give your clients access to the Client Portal.
Sending a Portal Invitation
- Navigate to Clients from the sidebar.
- Select the client company.
- Go to the Contacts tab.
- Click on the contact you want to invite.
- Click Send Portal Invitation.
- Confirm the invitation.
The contact will receive an email with instructions to set up their portal account, including creating a password.
What Clients Can Do
Once invited, clients can:
- View and create support tickets for their company
- Add comments and upload documents to tickets
- View projects assigned to their company (based on your visibility settings)
- Request appointments with your team
- View finalized invoices and billing information
- Invite additional users from their organization
Managing Portal Users
Clients with appropriate permissions can invite additional users from their organization through Client Settings > User Management in the portal.
You can also manage client portal users directly:
- Navigate to the client's contact list.
- View which contacts have portal access.
- Revoke access if needed by disabling portal access for specific contacts.
Portal User Permissions
Client portal users have role-based permissions that control:
- Ticket creation and viewing
- Project visibility
- Billing access
- User management capabilities
