Navigate to Settings > General > Projects tab. This section allows you to customize project-related configurations that affect all projects in your organization.

Project Numbering

Define the format for automatically assigning numbers to new projects.

  • Project Number Prefix: Define the text prefix for all project numbers (e.g., changing from "PROJECT" to "PSAPROJ").
  • Minimum Digits: Set the minimum number of digits for the numerical sequence (e.g., setting it to "2" will show "01" instead of "1").
  • Last Used Number: Set the starting point for the next project number.
  • The Next Project Number Preview shows how the next project will be numbered based on your settings (e.g., "PSAPROJ0023").

Project Statuses

Project statuses define the key stages of your project workflow.

  • The workflow is defined by setting statuses as either Open or Closed.
    • Open statuses are those where work is still ongoing (e.g., "In Progress").
    • Closed statuses are typically used to indicate project completion or cancellation, marking the project as finished (e.g., "Completed").
  • You can edit the name, status (Open/Closed), and order for each project status.

Project Task Statuses

These statuses manage your tasks across all projects and appear as the Kanban board columns.

  • You can manage the task status library, including editing the name, description, color, and icon for each status.
  • When editing a task status, you can optionally mark it as a closed status (e.g., "Done"), indicating that the task is considered complete.

Project Task Priorities

Priority labels help your team quickly identify the urgency of a task.

  • You can Add Priority or Import from Standard Priorities (e.g., "Low," "Medium," "High," "Critical") to define custom priority levels for your organization.
  • Each priority level can be assigned a Name, Color, and Order.
